Some good news at last for charities

The audit threshold for Scottish charities is set to be increased from £500K to £1M.  This will help reduce costs and administrative burdens for quite a number of charities at a time when rising employment and other costs and increased difficulties in accessing grant funding are causing concern in the sector.

The expected date of commencement is 1 January 2026 and charities may want to plan ahead when this is confirmed and see what actions they can take to bring them into the new regime as soon as possible.  Get in touch with us for our suggestions.
